So I totally get the mentality of not wanting to waste food. It is rough tossing the kids plates in the trash for example. BUT think of it this way: You eating past full and either keeping the remainder for another meal or tossing it is better than you "cleaning your plate" past you being full! It's still garbage either way....your body is going to store the excess as fat or your trash can is going to store it for the dump...either way it's unnecessary calories, wasted food, it's either garbage in you or garbage in your can......You can either waste the food in your trash can or spend a lot of time working it off your body.....I'm all about being frugal, but before you gorge your plate clean, consider what you are really wasting....
