The answer to the question of when is the best time of day to workout is ultimately always going to be whenever you can fit it in and do it. All of that aside, if you can workout first thing in the morning, an extra benefit that you will receive in addition to a days worth of extra fat burning energy, is your metabolic rate setting on high for the day! But whenever and however you workout, if at all possible, try to consistently workout at the same time of day each workout. Why? "When you consistently work out at the same time, your body releases testosterone and adrenaline during that period. Those hormones help muscles process energy more efficiently, leading to increased strength and power." (David Behm, Ph.D.)
